If Go2mobile or all of Go2moble assets are acquired, we will transfer to the acquirer all information stored for continuity of service and to comply with data retention laws.

Any information entered by the Account holder for text messaging purposes will remain the property of the Account holder, which Go2mobile will hold securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. Go2mobile run multiple daily scheduled backups to secure and retain this data. Go2mobile will take reasonable measures to protect your personal information with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Go2mobile will at no time collect or redistribute this information without your consent, except where legally required to do so by law/court order.

Go2mobile do not ask for or retain your financial information. When you purchase text credits you are entering your payment details in Paypal who have their own security and privacy policies.

It is the Account holder’s sole responsibility to acquire necessary permission to send messages to their contacts. Depending on the contacts network tariff agreement they may be billed by their carrier to receive text messages. The Grouptxt service has a block list which allows the Account holder to enter one or more contact numbers that do not wish to receive text messages in future. Go2mobile is not responsible for the text messages sent by our Account holders.

If at any time you would like to change any information in your account, login and select the “Edit Details” from the home page.

The Account holder has the option to use their own mobile/cell number to identify herself/himself as the sender of the message. This option is available when sending messages to recipients in most countries but as yet not currently available in the USA, Canada or other 1-prefix zones.

For those networks that we cannot put your mobile/cell number as the Sender Id, or if you have not activated the Sender Id within Edit details, one of our default Sender ids will be automatically assigned to the messages sent via your account.

We are not responsible for the strength or lack therefore of your password. We request you enter a minimum of 8 characters. We can only recommend for your security that you enter a password as strong as possible. You can change your password at any time within Edit Details.

Due to the public nature of the Internet, all information should be considered publicly accessible, and important or private information should be treated carefully. While Go2mobile take measures to protect your information on our systems, Go2mobile is not liable for protection or privacy of electronic data or other information transferred through the Internet or cellular network.

If Grouptxt is used by a child it should be by the agreement of a parent/guardian. Parents/guardians should monitor the content of the messages their children are sending to ensure text messages do not contain any offensive material, and are not been used for bullying, stalking or harassment. Go2mobile are not responsible if a child uses their parent’s/guardian’s details to purchase text credits via PayPal for the sending of messages. We recommend that for the sake of the privacy/security/safety that parents/guardians set up the account for the child and monitor it.

Go2mobile may reserve the right to change this online privacy policy from time to time at its discretion. Changes will be posted online and will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of our services after changes to this online privacy policy have been posted is deemed acceptance of those changes. It is your sole responsibility to monitor the privacy policy to determine whether any such changes have been posted. This privacy policy is subject to and applicable to all privacy laws.
